Chalmers Brothers is a certified executive coach, leadership development consultant, speaker and best-selling author. He is former chairman of a Vistage CEO private advisory board, and for the past 19 years has been a resource speaker for Vistage CEO groups across the US and Canada.
He began his 32-year career with 9 years at Andersen Consulting (Accenture), where he was one of the first managers in the newly-established Change Management practice.
For the past 25 years, his focus has been on leadership and personal development, organizational culture, emotional intelligence, teamwork, productivity, accountability, trust-building and relationship-building. Clients include TripAdvisor, Coca-Cola, Infusionsoft, Dollar General, US Department of Treasury, National Science Foundation, REI Systems, Price Waterhouse Coopers and many others.
His books “Language and the Pursuit of Happiness” (2005) and “Language and the Pursuit of Leadership Excellence” (2015) have been adopted by the leadership / coaching programs at Georgetown University, George Mason University, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Newfield Network (US, Europe and Asia) and many others.
His 2014 TED talk is entitled “How Language Generates Your World and Mine.”
Chalmers and his wife of 31 years have 3 grown children and live in Naples, FL where he is involved in Rotary Club and other civic / church-related activities. He enjoys running, fishing, kayaking, golf and travel with his wife and family. Originally from New Orleans, Chalmers has a special place in his heart for all things Louisiana!
