As a Vistage Chair since 2002, Cindy Hesterman helps executives become better leaders, make better decisions and achieve better results. Vistage combines monthly peer group meetings, resource speakers, executive coaching, and access to a brain trust of over 23,000 members in 20 countries. As part of Vistage’s program of ongoing personal and professional development, Cindy facilitates the monthly group meetings and conducts monthly one-to-one executive coaching sessions with each CEO member in her two CEO groups. She also works with other top executives in her Vistage Key Leader group.
Cindy is known for holding her members accountable and asking tough questions, enabling her members to uncover what is holding them back from achieving their dreams. She received the Nourse Award in 2005, presented annually to a Vistage Chair, for providing exceptional value to her group members. She also received the 2013 Red Scott Award for great Chair leadership and exemplifying the spirit of Vistage, and more recently was honored with the 2014 Vistage Florida Staff Appreciation Award for displaying outstanding character.
Previously, Cindy spent more than twenty years as a CPA, Controller and CFO of both publicly traded and privately held businesses. During that time, she was involved in over 30 acquisitions in various industries, as well as an IPO and a privatization.
Cindy is an active member of Association for Corporate Growth, American Institute of CPAs, Business Transition Council, Christian Chamber of Commerce Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Women CPAs, and Christ the King Lutheran Church.
